Katie Winnell is a Licensed Facilitator of the Am I Hungry® Mindful Eating Program. This program helps you to recognize and manage your eating patterns and work toward a state of nutritional wellness. Far from “just another diet,” Mindful Eating helps you to:
break your “eat-repent-repeat” cycle - first depriving, then craving, then overeating, then feeling guilty, and returning to prior habits
return to instinctive eating by developing healthful habits using our internal cues of hunger and fullness
learn to view food as a joyful opportunity for self-care
manage your eating patterns to assist in reaching integrated health goals
invest the energy from your food in living a joyful, vibrant life
Workshops are offered periodically, or can be brought to your group or place of work. Workshop materials always include the book Eat What You Love, Love What You Eat by Dr. Michelle May, a companion workbook and awareness journal, and access to the Am I Hungry® online participant portal, full of support and educational resources.
